Hi! I'm Kate. I am a registered physiotherapist, former gymnast, and a lover of movement in all of its forms. Through my experience in physiotherapy, I have learned just how important it is to move well. It sounds so simple, and yet we often take for granted that we are able to do it.
Mountain Life Movement is a personal project to help my community move more and move better. Through my physiotherapy practice, group classes, and education, it is my aim to empower everyone around me with healthy movement.

Pilates promotes postural awareness, core strength and stability, uniform muscle development and mindful movement.
Our physiotherapy sessions tailor these concepts to your individual needs to help you recover from, and prevent future, injury.
Mountain Life's Movement classes incorporate Pilates, yoga and dynamic neuromuscular stability principles. They aim to help participants improve posture, core stability and alignment, and offer tools to help them better manage these things on their own.
Classes now being offered out of the Mountain Life Studio, as well as Mantra Spirit Studio.
My journey as an athlete, physiotherapist and Pilates instructor has made me a student of movement: how to rehabilitate and optimize it, how to make it more accessible, how to get more of it, and the list goes on.
I am still learning, always, and would love to share what I am learning with you. You never know what might resonate with you, to help you change your movement for the better.
